He has previously worked as an engineer and project manager for the U.S. Air Force Civil Service and has also worked as a general law practitioner. His career counseling clients in cases related to patents, trademarks, and copyrights spans over 40 years.

As an inventor or co-inventor on several patents, Chuck has always been interested in exploring innovative ideas. He enjoys spending his spare time reading about science and technology, keeping things operating long beyond their intended lifetime, and working in the great outdoors battling the multi-flora rosa and privet in his yard. Chuck is an avid tech enthusiast with a background and years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering, is the proud holder of an FCC First Class Radiotelephone Operator’s License with Ship Radar Endorsement and an Advanced Class Amateur (HAM) Radio License, was a registered professional engineer in both Mississippi and Florida, and was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout.
